At this point, the perfume has become so intertwined with my existence that my boyfriend thinks I naturally smell of cardamom and pink pepper. And I had been happily planning to continue this habit for another few decades, until I discovered that The Beat has been discontinued, leaving me fragranceless and, more seriously, rusty on how to choose a new identity.
